Most rug advice comes down to where the edges fall: under the front legs of the sofa, clear of the door, a hand’s width from the bed. Each size you sell is drawn at its real dimensions against the shopper’s own furniture.

Is the rug shown at the size the shopper picked?
Yes. Each size you sell is a choice in the room. A 160 × 230 and a 200 × 300 look different in the same photo, so the shopper sees which one reaches the sofa legs before ordering.
Does the rug go under the furniture?
It is laid on the floor that is there, under the sofa, bed or table legs, and it takes the room’s light, so it looks laid in the room rather than pasted on the photo.
Can shoppers move and turn the rug?
Yes. They drag it into place, turn it to follow the room, and switch to another size or design without starting again.
What about round rugs and runners?
Yes. Round rugs, runners and outdoor rugs are laid at the size in your catalogue like any other. Each size you list, standard or made to measure, is a choice in the room.
Is it the same tool as the carpet visualizer?
Wall-to-wall carpet is laid as a floor, through the flooring visualizer. Rugs are placed on top of the floor that is there. Both are in the same visualizer, so a shopper can try a carpet and then a rug on it.
